We collect only what we need to run our sessions and community, sell you access, and tell you about what is coming next. We do not sell your data.
Who we are
CoFi is run by CoFi Labs Inc., Toronto, Canada. We run live CoFi sessions, the CoFi community, CoFi All-Access, and live events including the Agentic UX Summit. When you join our list
When you sign up with your email, we use it to send you invites to upcoming sessions, replays and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.
When you register for a session
We collect your name, work email, job title and company, whether you attended, how long you watched, and any questions you asked.
Sponsored sessions are paid for by a sponsor, who is named on the registration page. We only share your contact details with the sponsor if you tick the box that says you are happy to hear from them. That box is unticked by default, and you can still attend if you leave it unticked. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, though we cannot recall details already sent to a sponsor at your request.
When you buy from us
When you buy CoFi All-Access, a summit pass, or an enterprise license, we collect your name, email address, and, for team orders, the names and emails of the people you buy seats for. Payment details go straight to Stripe or Eventbrite. We never see or store your card number.
When you join the CoFi community, Circle collects the profile information you choose to share and standard usage data such as what you watch and when you log in. When you join a live session over Zoom, Zoom collects your name and email to admit you.
Sponsors
We hold sponsors' contact and billing details to run and invoice their sessions. We do not sell them or use them for anything else.
People we reach out to
We sometimes contact people at companies in a business capacity, at their work email, using public professional profiles and licensed business data. Every message says who we are and how to stop hearing from us. Reply stop or use the unsubscribe link and we will remove you.
On our websites
We collect the usual visit data: pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location from your IP address. We use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our advertising works; you can opt out through your Meta ad settings or a tracker blocker. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved only in your own browser.
How we use it
To deliver what you signed up for or bought: session invites, community access, Zoom links and recordings, certificates, and support. To tell you about future sessions, summits and CoFi All-Access, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Services we rely on
beehiiv sends our emails. Stripe processes payments. Eventbrite sells summit tickets. Circle hosts the community and session library. Zoom runs live sessions. Cal.com books sponsor calls. Tally handles our contact forms. Vimeo and Cloudflare deliver video and host our websites. Meta provides the advertising pixel. Each has its own privacy policy for the data it handles. Data may be processed in Canada, the United States and the European Union.
How long we keep it
Session attendee records for three years after the session. Purchase and sponsor records for as long as access lasts and seven years after, as Canadian tax law requires. Email addresses until you unsubscribe, and unsubscribe lists indefinitely so we never contact you again by mistake. Community accounts until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Send a request through our contact form or to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or California you have additional rights under local law, and we honour them for everyone. In Canada you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Security
Connections are encrypted, payment data never touches our systems, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will email you before it takes effect.
